The Masonic Temple located in the Grand Center district of St. Louis Missouri was built in 1926 and designed by architects Thomas Crane Young and Albert B. Groves. Young and Groves wanted to "incorporate the temples of ancient Babylon, of mighty Egypt, and of classical Greece" into the temple so they used a style that featured Classic with Ionic designs. When completed, the temple was 185 feet high covering one full acre of land. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
