Cortex, Center of Research Technology and Entrepreneurial Exchange, located in St Louis Missouri, is a not-for-profit organization that was sponsored by three local universities-University of Missouri-St. Louis, Washington University, and Saint Louis University, and by Missouri Botanical Garden and BJC HealthCare, with the stated purpose of furthering life sciences research, development and commercialization.
